BIR Filing 101: Anong Tax Forms ang Dapat Mong I-file as a Freelancer or Small Business?

✨ Introduction:

Kaya sa blog na ito, we at NumberWorks will break it down in simple Taglish, para klaro lahat.

📑 Ano ang mga Common BIR Forms?

Here are the top tax forms na kailangan mong i-file kapag registered ka na as self-employed, sole proprietor, or professional:

✅ Form 2551Q – Percentage Tax

For non-VAT registered businesses with annual gross sales of ₱3M and below.

📆 Quarterly Filing (on or before the 25th after each quarter)

✅ Form 1701Q – Quarterly Income Tax Return

📆 Filed 3 times a year: May, August, November

✅ Form 0605 – Payment Form

Ginagamit for annual registration fee (₱500 every January).

Also used for penalties or voluntary payments.

✅ Form 1601C – Withholding Tax on Compensation

“Pwede bang online?”

Yes! Through BIR’s eFPS or eBIRForms.

💡 NumberWorks Tips:

✔️ Track income and expenses monthly — mas madali kapag filing season

✔️ Mag-ingat sa deadlines — BIR penalties are no joke (₱1,000 up to 25% of tax due)

✔️ Don’t file late even if zero income — masakit sa wallet ang penalties
